Disgaea creator slams Sony disc decision

Former Nippon Ichi Software CEO and Disgaea creator Sohei Niikawa criticized Sony's plan to end game disc production. He told Noisy Pixel at Anime Expo 2026 that if Sony eliminates physical packages, it may as well eliminate hardware too. Sony announced the move on July 1.
