Obsidian Director Defends Studio After Layoffs

Obsidian Entertainment director Brandon Adler defended the studio after Microsoft laid off 1,600 staff, including 50 from Obsidian. Adler stated that lead roles are held by the same people who worked on The Outer Worlds, Pillars of Eternity, and New Vegas. The studio canceled an Avowed sequel and shifted to a new Fallout game led by Josh Sawyer.
