Comcast is spinning off NBCUniversal and Sky into a new company, leaving Comcast with cable and wireless. The split undoes the 2011 NBCUniversal acquisition. CEO Brian Roberts will remain involved in both companies. Current shareholders will own stock in both after the spinoff closes in a year.
