Google Invests $15 Billion in Finland Data Centers

Alphabet is committing a record $15 billion investment in Finland to build three new data centers and expand an existing facility. The project will secure up to 500 MW of power from the Soviet-designed Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant until 2050. Construction is expected to begin in 2027, creating around 37,000 jobs and supporting services like Gemini, Search, Maps, and YouTube.
