South Korean startup platform breach exposes key management failures

A July breach of South Korea's Modu-ui Changup startup platform leaked data of about 5,000 applicants after an encryption key was exposed via an API. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups confirmed the key was included in API responses, enabling decryption of encrypted data.
