U.S. Allows Anthropic Mythos AI Release to 100 Entities

The U.S. Commerce Department granted Anthropic permission to release its Mythos 5 model to roughly 100 companies and federal agencies. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick determined appropriate safeguards were in place for trusted partners. The approval did not restore access to Fable 5. Canada also gained access through the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security.
