Googlebook Launch Could Include Up to 8 Devices

Googlebook launch will feature at least eight devices including four with Intel Panther Lake and Fatcat baseboards using brand-specific splash screens. These devices show Googlebook traits distinct from Chromebooks. Qualcomm is preparing ARM-based devices for the launch. Partners such as Dell HP ASUS Acer and Lenovo are confirmed to be involved. The rollout is set for fall with a broad hardware lineup.
