Amazon's Fire TV Select 4K runs locked-down Vega OS, blocking sideloading and omitting Kodi and Jellyfin from its curated 3,000-app store. Plex is available but limited to H.264 and AAC at low bitrates. An alternative client called Astra works with Jellyfin and Emby servers.
