AMD Removes Memory Encryption from Consumer CPUs

AMD removed Transparent Secure Memory Encryption (TSME) from consumer Ryzen CPUs, a feature that encrypted memory against cold boot and physical attacks. Users of lower-end chips are upset because the protection remains on Pro versions. The change leaves consumer systems more vulnerable to physical memory exploits.
