Nvidia launched Vera, a custom Arm-based server CPU with its Olympus microarchitecture, designed for agentic AI workloads. Vera uses a monolithic die, LPDDR5X memory, and a 10-way decode front end. Nvidia claims up to 2X faster performance than x86 in agentic tasks. Vera chips were delivered to OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceX in June.
