Polish billionaire Michał Sołowow's SGE plans £35bn investment to build 14 GE Vernova Hitachi BWRX-300 small modular reactors across three UK sites. The project targets 4.2GW of power starting in 2034, enough to power 8 million homes for over 60 years. SGE seeks government-backed guaranteed prices before offering the project to investors.
