Ray Foss built an open-source system that makes a Steam Controller skitter across a desk to its magnetic charging puck using haptic feedback motors. A webcam guides the controller via computer vision, with pulse frequency reducing for finer movements near the puck. WebHID handles communication and confirms charging.
