Anthropic adds dynamic workflows to its Claude Managed Agents, allowing up to 1,000 AI agents to run in parallel per execution. A lead agent creates plans and distributes tasks to sub-agents. Testing on a 116,000-line codebase showed the workflow found 66 bugs versus 14 to 27 for a single agent. Users activate this by selecting the multiagent20261001 agent type.
