Robotic dogs equipped with AI vision models are moving beyond security into agriculture, capturing high-resolution crop images to build datasets for farmers. Swiss firm Synergenta, with the University of Nottingham, developed a robodog using LIDAR and GPUs to detect weeds, pests and diseases. DEEP Robotics says its robot cut grape farmers' manual workload by 70 percent in China's Turpan region.
