Money Mule Leader Pleads Guilty

Oleg Korniev, a 42-year-old dual citizen of Ukraine and Russia, pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. federal court to leading an international money laundering ring. The operation, known as Your Mule Cashout, recruited over 15,000 unwitting mules from 2007 until 2014 to move funds for hackers who stole from 750 U.S. bank accounts.
