Google DeepMind and Google Research open-sourced WeatherNext 2 and WeatherNext Cyclones after the AI model predicted Hurricane Melissa's Category 5 landfall in Jamaica five days ahead. The model gives forecasters an extra day of lead time and now generates 1,000 scenarios per cyclone.
