Crusoe Abandons $1.25B Boom Turbine Deal

Crusoe, a Denver AI data center startup, has ended its $1.25 billion plan to buy 29 of Boom Supersonic's 42-megawatt Superpower turbines for its Abilene, Texas campus. Boom CEO Blake Scholl confirmed the launch partnership fell apart because turbines are no longer part of Crusoe's near-term power mix. Boom will deliver about 250MW next year and targets 1GW in 2028.
