Phishing actors abused Faronics Deploy to enroll victim computers and install ConnectWise ScreenConnect, reaching over 457 endpoints from July 21 to August 20. Huntress notified Faronics on August 5, prompting anti-abuse measures that dropped malicious activity starting August 21.
