Franklin Templeton expanded its off-exchange collateral program to Bybit on Monday, letting users pledge shares in its tokenized money market funds, about $686 million in net assets, to borrow USDT or USDC while earning yield. Custody platform ByCustody holds the assets off-exchange, with value mirrored on Bybit. The firm already offers this to Binance and OKX customers.
