BMW Plans Entry-Level Electric Car for 2028

BMW will launch an electric compact car based on its Neue Klasse platform in 2028, likely named i1, the company said at its Capital Market Day 2026. The Munich automaker also confirmed the all-electric iX4 SUV will debut later this year, expanding its EV lineup into the entry-level segment.
