Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 'Wide' will have 60μm ultra-thin glass, 30% thicker than the Fold 7's 45μm. The 'Ultra' model sticks with 45μm. Thicker glass improves durability and display quality but may slightly increase the risk of random cracks. Launch is expected July 22.
