Meta Ads Spread Android Toll Fraud in Poland

CERT Polska found 852 Meta ads promoting 17 Google Play apps that enrolled Polish Android users in premium-rate SMS and carrier billing scams. Three short codes charged 30.75 PLN per message; one offer billed 17 PLN weekly. Google removed the apps and Meta pulled the ads, but installed copies and command-and-control servers remain active.
