CachyOS rebuilds packages the wrong way

CachyOS compiles every package for x86-64-v3 and v4 instruction sets, ignoring generic baseline binaries. The distro ships a custom kernel fork and optimized Proton builds. On the ROG Ally X, CachyOS outpaces SteamOS and Windows 11. Steam's June 2026 survey shows CachyOS at 14.03% of Linux gamers, second only to SteamOS Holo.
