Foundry USA, the world's largest Bitcoin mining pool with 23.8% of network hashrate, asked mining clients to vote on BIP-110. The proposal would shrink data stored in Bitcoin transactions to limit non-monetary uses like Ordinals. Voting closes at block 961,632 in early August. Blockstream CEO Adam Back and Strategy's Michael Saylor oppose it.
