Gears of War: E-Day drops PS5 release

Microsoft announced at its Xbox Games Showcase that Gears of War: E-Day will no longer launch on PlayStation 5, becoming an Xbox console exclusive releasing October 6. The Verge reported the decision. Eurogamer cited Jeff Grubb, who said the change "just happened" and that Xbox is "going backwards" on multiplatform releases. The shift follows Asha Sharma becoming Xbox CEO.
