Deep-Sea Drones to Map 98 Percent of Oceans

Ifremer's Deep-6000 prototypes completed five 6,000-meter dives between January 11 and February 2, making France the third country with Argo floats reaching abyssal depths. Thirty more deep-sea floats will join the 4,000-strong fleet by 2028.
