The Node.js project paused its security bug bounty program after losing external funding. Since 2016, the program offered monetary rewards through the Internet Bug Bounty (IBB) on HackerOne. Node.js cannot sustain the program independently as a volunteer-driven project. The project will reconsider resuming if dedicated funding becomes available.
