Porsche Builds Battery Cells From Recycled Materials

Porsche has produced battery cells using only recycled cathode active material from its own high-voltage packs, working with German recycler cylib. The cells, recovering lithium, nickel, cobalt and manganese, are already being tested in vehicles. Porsche and partners can make such cells from 2028, though no date is set for production cars.
