Microsoft locks Office 2019 editing on Apple devices

Starting July 13, 2026, Office apps on Apple devices will enter reduced functionality. Office 2019 on macOS, iPad, and iPhone becomes view/print-only with no update available. Office 2021 and Microsoft 365 users can restore editing by updating the device and apps.
