TP-Link has started selling the Archer 8 Ultra, the first Wi-Fi 8 router, in the UK, Australia and Germany. It costs £669.99 on pre-order, rising to £899.99 later. Wi-Fi 8 improves reliability and interference handling rather than raw speed, but no phones, tablets or laptops support the standard yet, so buyers are paying an early adopter premium.
