Samsung may use third-party display chips in Galaxy S27

Samsung MX is considering using third-party display driver ICs in some Galaxy S27 models due to rising memory chip costs. The base S27 and S27+ could use DDIs from Anapass, DB Global Chip, Novatek, or Wonik D2I, while the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra would keep Samsung System LSI DDIs. A final decision has not been made.
