Alpine Linux 3.24 ships with System76's COSMIC desktop, the first pure-Wayland environment the FOSS desk found usable full-time. Version 3.24.1 followed four days later to fix OpenSSL security issues. The release also includes GNOME 50, KDE Plasma 6.6.5, and updated GRUB, LLVM, Rust, Go, Qt, and NGINX.
