Cursor launches Origin as GitHub outage hits

Cursor launched Origin, a Git-compatible code-hosting platform for AI-generated commits, in beta late Monday. The launch follows Tomas Reimers' teaser at Cursor's San Francisco developer conference, the same day SpaceX confirmed a $60 billion bid to acquire Cursor, which closed August 14.
