Bain: AI Needs $6T Revenue by 2031

Bain & Company warns the AI industry must generate $6 trillion in annual revenue by 2031 to justify infrastructure spending. Hyperscaler capex could hit $780 billion in 2026 and $1.5 trillion by 2031, but existing AI uses cover only $1.2 trillion to $1.8 trillion, leaving a $4.2 trillion gap that requires new products beyond productivity.
