Kiel orders 28 battery-electric articulated buses from Daimler Buses

KVG ordered 28 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro G battery-electric articulated buses from Daimler Buses, with an option for five more. Deliveries begin in 2027. Each bus costs around €950,000 and uses NMC4 battery technology with five 111 kWh packs. The order followed a Europe-wide tender where Daimler was the most economical provider.
