Researchers at the National University of Singapore developed a prototype touchscreen woven into a sleeve using 54 specialized fibres. The 96 x 54-pixel display survives 50 machine-washing cycles and 1,000 bending cycles while showing images and responding to touch. Published in Nature, this research demonstrates interactive electronic textiles for health monitoring and communication without a rigid screen.
