Software stocks break from bitcoin as IGV hits high

The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV) hit a one-year high against bitcoin at 0.0016, with IGV down only 1% in 2026 while bitcoin fell 29%. Their 20-day correlation turned negative for the first time since May 2024. Previous negative-correlation episodes ended with bitcoin catching up.
