China's draft revision to its Road Traffic Safety Law proposes that manufacturers or importers handle traffic violations committed while fully autonomous driving functions are activated. The draft, submitted Tuesday to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, adds a chapter on autonomous vehicles and excludes assisted-driving systems from the provision.
