Researchers at Donghua University successfully spun transistors, resistors and capacitors into a continuous fiber on September 24. Led by Meifang Zhu and Gang Wang, the team used microfluidic encoded spinning to create circuit strands for wearable computing and robot electronic skins that bend with soft bodies.
