Anthropic Raises Claude Usage Limits 20%

Anthropic launched Claude Opus 5.5, its first model since Dario Amodei's pace-the-frontier essay, claiming enhanced safeguards against risky behavior. The model performs at Fable 5.1 level for most tasks and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5. Anthropic also raised five-hour usage limits by 20% on Pro, Max and Team plans and gave subscription users a rate limit reset.
