Google AI launches zero-shot tabular model

Google Research released TabFM, a foundation model designed specifically for tabular data that performs classification and regression without dataset-specific training or feature engineering. The architecture combines row-column attention with in-context learning to predict outcomes on unseen tables via a single forward pass using the full dataset as one prompt.
