Lucid Aims Another Salvo At Tesla's Robotaxi Business

Lucid Group's robotaxi program with Uber and Nuro now includes Hertz affiliate Oro Mobility, targeting 35,000 Lucid vehicles for Uber. Uber invested $500 million in Lucid, while Saudi firm Ayar Third Investment added $550 million. Lucid produced 4,774 vehicles in Q2 2026, up 24% year-over-year.
