OpenAI Launches Decisions API After Jev

On Oct. 6, OpenAI rolled out a competing product called Decisions API, using GPT-6 Luna, just three weeks after startup TypeSafe AI released its Jev model. This launch follows TypeSafe CEO Diogo Almeida leaving OpenAI in 2020 to build the rival tool for faster, cheaper automated classification decisions.
