Huawei Deploys Massive MIMO on High-Speed Rail

Huawei and China Telecom's Shaanxi branch completed commercial deployment of dual-band 32T32R FDD Massive MIMO on the Xu-Lan and Yinxi high-speed rail lines on October 20. This marks the first commercial use of FDD Massive MIMO in a high-speed rail setting in China, extending cell coverage by about 200 meters and raising average 5G downlink speed by more than 50%.
