Essar Retail Acquires SGN for £400M

Essar Energy Transition's retail arm, EET Retail, has agreed to acquire UK forecourt operator SGN Retail for approximately £400 million. The deal adds 118 sites to EET's network, creating a 235-site estate and making it the UK's second-largest forecourt operator. EET plans to expand to 800 sites by 2031, integrating fuel from its Stanlow refinery.
