Nadella rejects VP's plan for addictive AI agent

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella publicly rebuked a memo from Corporate Vice President Omar Shahine proposing a three-phase plan to make users addicted to the new AI agent Scout. Nadella called the goal absolutely not a goal and suggested the author go work elsewhere. Scout is built on open-source OpenClaw and was unveiled at Microsoft's Build conference. A Microsoft spokesperson said Scout should reduce screen time.
