SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, known as Crypto Mom, will leave the agency on October 2, she announced Friday on X. Her exit follows years of pushing for crypto rules and recent SEC guidance on token classification and a five-year tokenized securities innovation exemption. She joins Regent University School of Law.
