Fanatics buys regulated exchange for prediction markets

Fanatics will acquire BGC's federally regulated exchange and clearinghouse to launch and settle its own prediction markets. The deal positions Fanatics to compete with Kalshi, Polymarket, and other platforms. Fanatics and BGC also plan to develop market data products combining prediction activity with traditional financial data.
