Modder ports original Xbox emulator to jailbroken PS5
3 min read
A modder known as ZiZc3 has ported the Xemu Xbox emulator to jailbroken PlayStation 5 consoles, naming it XPSemu. The port runs Forza Motorsport, Halo 2 and Crash Bandicoot, using QEMU's TCG JIT and a Vulkan renderer. The emulated Xbox CPU is the bottleneck at 85-97% load, while the PS5 GPU sits mostly idle.
