Valve ends physical Steam gift cards over scams

Valve will not renew its stock of physical Steam gift cards, expecting them gone from retailers by end of 2026. The company cited scammers adapting to restrictions, making the decision to end the retail program. Digital gift cards and redemption of existing physical cards will continue.
